Application Fee

  • Application fees of Rs.100/- (Non-refundable) must be paid through ONLINE MODE only.
  • No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should have completed 15 years of age but should not have exceeded 24 years of age as of 31.03.2024.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
  • Additionally, they should possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Mode Of Selection – Rail Coach Factory Vacancy2024

For selection as ‘Apprentice‘ in Rail Coach Factory Vacancy 2024, Please follow below mentioned steps.

  • Selection will be based on a merit list compiled from all candidates applying for the notification. The merit list will be prepared considering the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) along with ITI marks in the relevant trade for apprenticeship. The panel will be determined by the simple average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
  • For calculating the percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be considered, not limited to any specific subject or group of subjects. ITI marks will be reckoned based on the marks mentioned in the provisional/final certificate.
  • In cases where two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the candidate with the older age. If the dates of birth are also identical, priority will be given to the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier.
  • A final merit list will be prepared trade-wise and community-wise, matching the number of slots available, arranged in descending order of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates as mentioned above.
  • Verification Process:
    • Candidates finally enlisted will undergo verification of original testimonials.
    • They must also pass an appropriate medical examination.
  • Medical Examination:
    • The medical certificate should be signed by Government authorized Doctors (Gazetted), holding a rank not below that of Assistant Surgeon of Central/State Hospital.

Salary , Stipend and Accommodation

  • As per extant rules and directives issued by the Railway Board from time to time.

ii) No hostel accommodation will be provided to selected candidates for Rail Coach Factory Vacancy 2024. They will have to make their own arrangements during their training period as per the Apprentices Act, 1961. Upon completion of the training, they will be released.

  • Candidates need to log on to the RCF website www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in provided for filling ONLINE applications.
  • They should fill up their personal details/BIO-DATA carefully.
  • It’s crucial that candidates ensure their name, father’s name, date of birth exactly match as recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any deviation found during Document Verification will lead to the cancellation of candidature and debarment.

Note:

  • Candidates are advised to provide an active mobile number and a valid e-mail ID in the ONLINE application. They must keep these contacts active during the entire engagement process, as all important messages will be sent by email/SMS, which will be deemed to have been read by the candidates.

ii) Candidates should refrain from submitting more than one application with different particulars such as Name, Father’s name, community, Photo (face), educational and/or technical qualifications, Email ID, or Mobile Number. All such applications will be summarily rejected.

iii) After completing the online application process, candidates should keep a printout of their application. If found eligible, they will be called for Document Verification, and the printout of the Online application is required to be produced at the time of Document Verification.
