Application Form
The application form for Rajasthan PTET 2024 is now available for candidates aspiring to pursue admissions into the 4-year Bachelor of Arts/Science – Bachelor of Education (Integrated) and 2-year Bachelor of Education programs. Eligible candidates can access the application form on the official website starting from March 6, 2024, until the deadline on March 31, 2024.

All admissions to Teacher Education Programme shall be made through P.T.E.T.-
2024 only through Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota. No options to fill
seats at the level of Institution (College) shall be allowed.

Age Limit
Candidates aspiring to appear for the Rajasthan PTET Examination must adhere to the following eligibility criteria regarding the age limit:

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For 4 years Bachelor’s of Arts / Science – Bachelor’s of Education (Integrated):
- A candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam (12th pass) with Science or Arts stream.
For 2 years Bachelor’s of Education:
- One must have pursued a 3 years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution or university.
Additional Eligibility Details:
- Candidates who are appearing in Intermediate and final year of Bachelor’s degree are eligible to participate for 4 year BA/BSc.BEd and 2 years BEd.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Exam Details:

Rajasthan PTET 2024 – Examination will consist of one question paper containing four sections. Each section will comprise 50 questions, resulting in a total of 200 multiple-choice questions. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Section A: Mental Ability:
- This section will consist of 50 objective-type multiple-choice questions designed to test various abilities, including:
- Reasoning
- Imagination
- Judgment & Decision Making
- Creative Thinking
- Generalization
- Drawing inferences, etc.
Section B: Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test:
- This section will also consist of 50 objective-type multiple-choice questions, primarily focusing on areas such as:
- Social Maturity
- Leadership
- Professional Commitment
- Interpersonal Relations
- Communication
- Awareness, etc.
- Answers to the questions in this section will be scored on a scale of 3, 2, 1, and 0, assessing attitude and awareness.
Section C: General Awareness:
- Comprising 50 objective-type multiple-choice questions, this section will cover various topics, including:
- Current Affairs (National & International)
- Indian History & Culture
- India and its Natural Resources
- Great Indian Personalities (Past and Present)
- Environmental Awareness
- Knowledge about Rajasthan, etc.
Section D: Language Proficiency (English or Hindi):
- This section will include 50 objective-type multiple-choice questions assessing proficiency in Hindi or English language. Topics covered will include:
- Vocabulary
- Functional Grammar
- Sentence Structures

Marking Scheme:
- Each question carries 3 marks.
- Negative marking is applicable. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted.
Medium of Examination:
- The medium of the exam will be both English and Hindi.

Reservation Criteria & Seats
Reservation details for 4 years BA/BSc.BEd (Integrated) and 2 years BEd courses in various government and private colleges of Rajasthan are outlined as follows:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 16%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 12%
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 21%
- Most Backward Classes (MBC): 5%
- Physically Challenged: 5%
- In-service or Ex-serviceman defense personnel or for his/her ward (only Air Force, Army, and Navy): 5%
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10%
- Women: The reservation for women is in accordance with the rules of the Government of Rajasthan. Additionally, out of the total reserved seats for women, 8% are allocated for widows and 2% for divorced women.
